Body vs Car Care

Many individuals treat their car(s) with great care—oil and lubrication, frequent check of tire treads, fill the tank with premium gas, weekly wash, wax, shine and check the engine and batteries, etc.

While waiting for my car to be repaired, I noticed this car on display in the showroom. My first impression was, WOW! I loved the fact that it had been well maintained and cared for . Then I read the notice posted on the window.

1968 Chevrolet Chevelle, 2-Door Sedan, 38,907 original miles, one owner vehicle, only 500  2-door sedans built by GM in ’68

If more people cared for their bodies as well and as often as they serviced their cars, it would make for healthier communities. Healthier people would eat fish such as tuna, salmon and cod to provide the oil needed to nourish the skin and joint. Foot massage and reflexology would help relieve the wear and tear on the feet.hand and water massages, dry skin brushing and infrared sauna would rejuvenate the skin, circulation and the spirit. Yoga, tai chi and qi gong would relieve stress and lower blood pressure.

The car is taken for a drive on the highway to rev it up when it hasn’t been driven for a few days. Doesn’t he body deserve the same attention? Exercise help relieve arthritis, speeds up the metabolism, energizes the body so it can keep going and it improves memory so we know where we’re going. Premium fuel for the body includes a diet high in nutrients and fiber and low in salt and fats.

Treat your body like it’s a luxury car!

How does your body shape up? Are you treating it like a luxury car? Or does it need repairing? Will you get good mileage and be able to go the distance (longevity)?
