During the month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, the public is inundated with information regarding various programs, events, news reports and health services for the prevention of breast cancer. There For The Action || Missing From History
Lioness, a documentary film, tells the story of a group of female Army support soldiers who were part of the first program in American history to send women into direct ground combat. It takes an intimate look at war through the eyes of U.S. military women, following five female support soldiers who served together for a year in Iraq supporting Marine Corps units in direct ground combat.

Lioness makes public, for the first time, their hidden history.
Lioness was aired on PBS on June 2, 2009.
