On August 23, 2008, I had the great benefit of visiting Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. After  a 14 hour non-stop flight I arrived in Mumbai on a hot, humid evening. Fortunately, the rains had ceased prior to my arrival. In addition, the car service was waiting and the driver had cold bottled water and cool moist hand cloths to freshen up.  During the week that followed I visited the Gandhi Museum and was truly impressed by the Gandhi memorabilia and library. His writings, displayed on the walls, reminded me of quotes by Howard Thurman. I share some of them below because they are thoughts  for everyone, including entrepreneurs and practitioners, to keep in mind during difficult times  for self-motivation and inspiration. Read More…
