Essential Oils
Juniper Berry – Juniperus communis
Steam distilled
Origin: Bulgaria
Aroma: Refreshing, clear, woddy, pineneedle like odor. The plant part used are the berries. Purifies the atmosphere and supports the spirit in challenging situations. Has an affinity for the uninary tract and is used in the treatment of cystitis. An effective diuretic and detoxifier. Therefore, it is valuable in the treatment of arthritis and cellulite.
Caution: Should not be used in pregnancy and by those with kidney disease.
Lavender- Lavandula angustifolia
Steam distilled
Origin: France
Aroma: This oil has a sweet, floral aroma. Lavender is regarded as the most useful oil for therapeutic purposes. Widely used for its perfume and medicinal properties. Rub on soles of feet when you can’t get to sleep. Calms stormy emotions; soothes the spirit; balances mental energy. Valuable for most skin conditions since it promotes growth of new cells.
Lemon Yellow – Citrus limonum

Plant part: flowers/roots
Aroma: uplifting, citrus fragrance. Mixed with jojoba oil, it is an excellent cleanser for oily skin. Refreshing oil for the diffuser. Lemon has been shown to increase mental alertness in workplace settings. It guards against brittle nails.
Lime Essence – citrus medica var. acids

Origin: USA
Plant part: peel
Aroma: sweet, fresh fragrance. Its refreshing, uplifting aroma reduces anxiety and mental fatigue. Excellent in facial lotions because of its toning and astringent quality.
Orange Sweet – Citrus aurantium var. dulce
Cold pressed
Origin: USA Plant part: fruit/peel
Aroma: It has a refreshing citrus fragrance and is a good skin tonic that aids dry, wrinkle skin. The oil helps with the formation of collagen. It is reviving during periods of boredom and low energy levels.
Patchouli – Pogostemon patchouli
Steam distilled
Origin: Indonesia
Aronma: This oil has a strong, earthy and exotic fragrance. Has diuretic and deodorizing properties. When in haled, the scent is a nerve sedative and antidepressant. Its diuretic property makes it useful in cases of cellulite and fluid retention. It stimulates the regrowth of skin cells (tissue regeneration), assits in healing sores, wounds, and rough, cracked skin. Therefore it rejuvenates, invigorates and restores the skin. Helps ground us and keep us in touch with our physical selves. Generally non-toxic, non-sensitizing and non-irritating.
Rose~Rosa damascena
Origin: Bulgaria (Rose Otto); Turkey; Morocco; France

The rose is a symbol of love, beauty and youth.
Rose is considered to be the Queen of flowers.
It is one of the most expensive oils produced.
To make one drop of oil, one would need about 30 roses.
It opens the heart, soothes feelings of anger, fear and anxiety; it is well known for comforting heartbreak and emotional losses.
Rose oil is excellent for hydrating the skin. It is ideal for all skin types, especially for mature, dry and sensitive skin. A by-product of rose oil is rose hydrosol.
Ylang Ylang, Extra – Cananga odorata

Origin: Spain
Aroma: Floral, jasmine like aroma. Used as an antidepressant and spiritual balancer. Has a reputation for acting as an aphrodisiac. Used to treat frigidity and impotence in men. This oil can balance hormones. It is useful in PMS and menopause. This essential oil is from the first distillation.
