 Greetings from Johnetta
The environmental seems to be in a turmoil around the world.  Rains, earthquakes, strong winds and freezing temperatures abound. We have had our share in New York. However, we have had very pleasant and relatively warm days lately.
The warm weather has it's advantages-it can lift the spirit, warm the heart and serve as a blessing in times of a horrific event, such as the earthquakes in Haiti. Haiti has had three seismic quakes of outstanding proportions in the short span of one week. I am  mentally prepared to render service as I did on prior occasions (after the Rita/Katrina hurricanes, 911, and in the mountains of Jamaica, WI). Give what you can, and then make every effort to go beyond what you feel you can give. UNICEF reaches out to the children.
Life is very fragile.

   To your success and wellness,

Featured Article: Eat Healthy in Winter
Eating healthy during the winter is no small feat. If you didn't store, by canning or freezing, summer vegetables and fruits, you are most likely going to pay an arm a leg and your first borne for these items now or simply eat a lot of "meat, bread and potatoes". In other words a lot of carbohydrates. They make you feel good during these days when there is less daylight.
We, in the United States, are almost in the middle of the winter months. So, what is in seasonal versus what you are eating? Depending on where you live in the U.S. you'll find a lot of green leafy vegetables and root vegetables that are grown in the States. The root vegetables to eat  include rutabaga,  potatoes, cabbage, collard ,kale and turnip greens, parsnips, onions, carrots and winter squash. All of these foods are nutrient dense and high in fiber. Make a vegetable soup and eat some for breakfast or have a baked sweet potato for lunch or a small one topped with a tablespoon of raisins for a dessert.
Did you know that what is referred to as "old" sweet potatoes in my culture, are sweeter in taste? "New", most recently harvested sweet potatoes (yams) are less sweet. consider leaving them on the counter to "age" like a  fine wine. Here's to your health!--> Recipes

Vaginal Discharge
Women make about 10 million office visits every year because of vaginal discharge! The discharge occurs as a result of bacterial vaginosis (BV), trichomoniasis (Trich) or candidiasis (Yeast) in 90% of these women. A good strategy is to visit your health care provider for assessment and treatment of vaginal discharge.
