Tip for Weight Reduction
Exercise and a reduction in caloric intake are proven methods for loosing weight. In addition to to these two methods we can use additional self care methods that will help make the process easier and more palatable.
A little known complementary aide  fennel. Fennel can be used as a culinary herb and essential oil. Fennel seeds have been used for a long time to ease flatulence. New mothers drink fennel tea to produce breast milk. It has been used in after bath body scrubs for its slight diuretic property to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
As a weight reduction aid, put a few drops (1-2) of essential oil on your aroma stone and place it n your work area or computer to reduce the desire to snack while you or on the computer. remember to breathe. Additionally, you can disperse 6-8 drops in your bath water. Use a massage oil blend that contains fennel essential oil would be an added plus.

 Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine is considered to be one of the oldest forms of health care. Almost every culture has made some contribution to the pharmacology industry. Plants account for about 25% of conventional medicines. In third world countries the percentage of phytomedicine may be as high as 70%. Vetivert essential oil is distilled from a wild grass that can be found in tropical places such as Haiti, India and Tahiti. It is a calming oil and has a balancing effect on the central nervous system, and attracts moisture to the skin, in addition to other properties. It impart s a wonderful base note to some of my custom blends.
