Preparing the Mind For Success And Health
Changing our thoughts can change behaviors and outcomes. The more positive and joyous our thoughts the more joyous and healthier are our lives.
Cognitive behavior therapy seeks to change behaviors and feelings. Predictive encoding implies planning for chance encounters and recognizing opportunities for the achievement of prior goal setting.
A couple of years ago I went to a physician for a routine exam. That one exam lead to six different physician visits and about four specialists exams. I started to feel like I was deathly ill. Then I said to myself, this has got to end. Let me take responsibility for my own health. When I made that decision there was a shift in the way I felt and thought about my health. From that moment on my health status improved…it was all down hill and moving with the flow…non resistant. I had changed the way I was thinking and focused on optimal health.
Always prepare the mind for success. Think of the journey and the goal as you would like it to be. This is warming up before taking action for a successful outcome.
