Celestial Bodies Celebration
shining brilliantly in the sky are Venus, Jupiter and a crescent Moon in a triangular formation creating a happy face. When I first saw the planets I thought Jupiter and Venus were the lights on an airplane then i notices the lights weren’t moving ant together they formed a triangular. Te brightness of the celestial bodies was outstanding. Later, I learned the will not reappear this close again until the year 2052.
Previously, I’ve written about me being a very seasonal person, which is evidenced by varied bodily changes. Astrologically, Jupiter is my ruling planet, of the sign Sagittarius. Now what does the appearance of Jupiter, the Moon and Venus mean for me? I’ll need to ask the astrologist that question in order to earn the significance of their appearance and location as it relates to my life. Unfortunately I didn’t have my Flip to record the event!

On August 23, 2008, I had the great benefit of visiting Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. After a 14 hour non-stop flight I arrived in Mumbai on a hot, humid evening. I share some of them below because they are thoughts for everyone, including entrepreneurs and practitioners, to keep in mind during difficult times for self-motivation and inspiration. Read More…

The Spirit in Wellness
How are you today? Last weekend millions of people were feeling great physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Where you one of those millions of people? On Friday I had completed reading “With Head and Heart”, the autobiograpy of Howard Thurman, the Dali Lama was streaming from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and Pope Benedict had arrived in New York. It could only get better if Daisaku Ikeda had arrived from Japan and they were all meeting with Dr. King and Mahatmas Ghandi! Dr. King carried with him and read passages from Thurman’s book, ” Jesus and the Disinherited” during the course of his life. Howard Thurman had a private meeting in India with Ghandi. He also met with Dr. King when he was in the hospital for the treatment of an almost fatal stab wound.
All of these great human beings believed and believe in the connection between Spirit and one’s inner spirit and wellness/health. In his address at the U.N., Pope Benedict spoke about discernment and ‘the possibility of a social order respectful of the dignity and right of the person….conversion of the heart…’.
